Judy Burke is one of the most professional realtors I have dealt with (and I have bought and sold at least 5 homes). She not only showed homes that we were interested in (with the particulars of 1-story, no pool, inside laundry, 3 bedrooms, etc.) but when we finally found the one we wanted, she negotiated the selling price to include things that had to be done to the home. She also referred vendors to do the fixing (being new to Thousand Oaks we had no idea who to call to fix anything). She was very personable, made house calls to sign all the paperwork that needed to be done, and generally was a "super" realtor. I would recommend her to anyone
that needs a "professional."

Very impressed with Judy Burke! Long story short she saved my life! In a nutshell Judy masterfully sold my house, my husbands house and my Mom's house 4 yrs ago. We worked with Judy for about a year. She assisted us in the process of renting a home in Camarillo, but most importantly she was there when we had an emergency. Our garage flooded in the course of that year and we contacted Judy. Within the hour we had the owner on the phone coordinating days and times to repair the water heater.

We are currently working with Judy to purchase our first home. She is the type of realtor you want on your side. Assertive but not aggressive, she is a treasure chest of on-the-ground information about different neighborhoods that has been gleaned through years of experience, and through walking the streets. She knows the Conejo Valley and other regions she covers in a way only a resident and diligent researcher would know. She has done a lot of homework on the areas she has expertise in. She's unassuming but extremely people savvy, and very intelligent. We have seen her in action securing deals where you wouldn't think you had a chance against multiple offers in a seller's market. When she looks at properties, she puts herself in your shoes, listens carefully to what you are looking for, and she shops for you as if she was buying property for herself. She has excellent taste and will give you a balanced view of a property rather than trying to get you into the first available place handwaving the whole time - she does not trade profit for values and perhaps this is why she has fantastic relationships with other realtors, and why we love her so much. If you're shopping for realtors, don't think, go with one that will be your very best advocate and truly wants you to be happy with what you buy!

I had reached out to Judy Burke in a desperate situation. My Son had just been relocated from New York to California with a new job. We have no contacts in California and had much stress and pressure to find suitable living quarters in a hurry.
Judy responded to my distress call within minutes and listened carefully to my needs, something that a good sales person should do, yet far and few between. Because she listened so carefully, again within minutes, she responded by forwarding me very suitable and focused choices.
Not only does Judy have a great sense of urgency, she was empathetic to all our needs. All the choices she gave me included the correct proximity to my son's job, safe neighborhood, correct pricing, amenities that were suitable, as well as her being consultative about the nightlife a young man would enjoy that would be near his new home.....amazing!
